Antique Staffordshire Pottery Greyhounds.
Greyhounds belong to the hound family and are used for racing. hunting and coursing. Built for speed these working dogs are usually portrayed with their catch. There have been many models potted in Staffordshire through the 19th century.
On cobalt blue bases.
